Career Guidance helps students select their career, maximizes career opportunities, promotes effective job placement and enhances employability.

Students from Std. 10th and 12th are on the threshold of selecting their careers. They need focused guidance from the Counsellor, which helps them to choose the right stream and plan their career goals, based on their strengths, weaknesses, interests, education, location, etc.

(b) Student Assessment Programs (SAP)

The Student Assessment Program (SAP) comprises of psychometric and aptitude tests, conducted for Std. 8th and above students to understand strengths, weaknesses, interests level and also for developing & balancing their skills and choosing a right career.

(e) Motivational Speech by eminent personalities

good role model is a source of inspiration and motivation, because of their attributes such as, hard work, determination and staying focused on their goals, etc.

In order to provide students with the right role models, SD-SEED invites eminent personalities to address the students at its Scholarship Distribution program on how they achieved success, their struggles and how they overcame the difficulties.

(f) Soft Skills

Soft skills are personal traits, characteristics and competencies, which determine how an individual relates to others and are also called ‘People Skills’ or ‘Interpersonal Skills’.

Our students are largely from a rural background and need proper soft skills training, which will make them competent to compete with urban students and enhance their opportunities for employability

Soft skills training are focused on Goal Setting, Business Etiquette and Grooming, Telephone Etiquette, Time Management, Interview Skills, Business Writing, Public Speaking, Oral English Communication, etc.

(g) Teacher Training

Teachers are given training on various teaching techniques and training on teaching of value based education.

(h) Parents Counseling
