SMART GIRL PROGRAM

• To empower girls to become mentally, emotionally and physically strong to fight against societal odds and make the right choices in difficult situations.


• This program is conducted for girls in the age group of 15 to 20 years.


• The goal of the program is sustainably enhanced capacities for young girls’ to live life with dignity and access equal opportunities through effective life skills education (LSE).

• Smart Girl is a simple initiative to evolve the design for the benefit of the girls through community network but it has now grown and expanded its scope and reach to cover all school going girls.


• The program framework broadly recommends 5 modules (Self-Awareness, Communication & Relationships, Self-Esteem & Self Defense, Choices & Decisions and Friends & Temptations). Additional 6th module of 90 mins for parents and 30 mins with girls is also a part of this program where parents are sensitized towards girls needs and together parents and girls are facilitated for bonding well and resolving to spend quality time together.
